Latest
Reuse a generated asset as a Flam Flash input
- New"Browse published flows" now has a search box to filter the list by title.
- ImprovedAny input named/labeled "master" (e.g. a base/master video) no longer shows the "vary per variant" toggle — it always takes one shared value across all variants.
- NewFlam Flash inputs can now be filled from previously generated assets in this frame (e.g. a generated master video), not just by uploading a new file or pasting a URL — a picker shows only assets matching that input's type (video inputs offer generated videos, image inputs offer generated images).
- NewPrompt inputs can now be varied per variant too (one box per variant, same as image/video), and the panel now explains when to vary an input vs. keep it the same for every variant — e.g. vary the product photo/prompt but keep a shared base video constant.
- NewFilling each variant's image/video no longer means only uploading a fresh file — Products and Generated-assets pickers are now available there too, matching the single-value input. Picking an asset whose type doesn't match what the input expects now shows a heads-up instead of silently applying it.
- ImprovedThe Upload button in Flam Flash now has a bolder black border so it stands out as the primary action.
Previous
Generate multiple Flam Flash variants in one go
- NewFlam Flash can now generate several variants of a flow in one run — set how many, mark which input should differ each time (e.g. a different product photo per variant), and up to 5 variants run in parallel at once instead of one at a time.
- FixedDeleting the component you used to generate a Flam Flash asset no longer removes that asset from the "generated assets" row — it stays there to drag onto something else.
- NewThe Flam Flash "generated assets" row now has a delete button on each asset plus a "Clear all", so you can clean up assets left behind after their component was deleted.
Previous
Drag generated assets between components
- NewExport a Flowy app from Flam Flash as reusable JSON with its preview, inputs, outputs, tags, and optional VRT baking recipe.
- NewIn VRT Studio's Timeline mode, any scene can now pull in a Flam Flash-generated video directly as a clip, instead of only uploading a local file.
- NewVRT Studio can now look up any template by name and show every Flam Flash asset generated inside it.
- NewFlam Flash now shows every asset generated so far in a draggable row — drop one onto any image or video component to reuse it there.
Previous
Run published Flowy AI flows from the canvas editor
- NewFlam Flash can now browse every published flow in your Flowy workspace and let you pick one, instead of requiring a pasted link.
- NewAdded a "Flam Flash" tab in the canvas editor — paste a published Flowy AI-flow link, fill in its inputs, and pull the generated result straight into your ad.
Previous
Brave-compatible exports + remote VRT baking
- FixedExported canvas ads now fit completely inside any placement while preserving their original aspect ratio.
- FixedExported canvas ads now remain visible and playable when Brave Shields is enabled.
- NewVRT Studio can now bake a .vrt on a remote machine instead of this one — useful when your own machine doesn't have the video toolchain installed. Baking locally isn't available on the hosted app.

One-click Shopify interactive video
- FixedThe visual VRT placer can now unlock password-protected Shopify development stores before loading the storefront preview.
- NewDrag a finished VRT onto any HTML container in the storefront preview and save that placement directly from the Shopify app.
- ImprovedShopify VRT builds now show live probe, normalization, encoder, packager, hosting, and completion logs while they run.
- NewBuild a VRT from the store’s newest arrivals, publish it to the Shopify homepage, and send the selected variant straight to the cart from Buy now.
- NewResize the finished Shopify VRT directly in its preview and apply the exact width and height to the storefront.
- FixedThe embedded Shopify app now opens directly into its workflow without Flam Flow’s browser and ad-blocker warning.
- NewPreview the finished interactive Shopify video and test every product variant directly in the creation workspace.
- ImprovedUpload or generate product videos and Flam now builds, hosts, maps, and publishes the interactive VRT automatically—no encoder settings or separate studio step.
Previous
VRT Studio packing reliability
- FixedVRT Studio now finds local packing tools across supported layouts and shows the encoder's exact error when a clip can't be packed.

Interactive video: audio sync + per-variant quality
- NewGradients now support per-stop opacity everywhere — set the alpha on each color point to fade a fill to transparent (backgrounds, shapes, text, and buttons).
- ImprovedExported ads now bake each image down to the size it appears on the canvas — smaller downloads and faster loads, automatically.
- NewVRT Studio: set a per-variant diff threshold to snap near-identical areas to the base (shrinks the file), with a live preview to scrub the timeline and tune it per variant.
- NewVRT Studio: give each variant its own quality — keep the base sharp and compress the others to shrink the file.
- ImprovedBackground audio now stays locked to a looping interactive video — it restarts each time the video loops. A short track plays once and waits for the next loop; a longer one is trimmed to the loop.
Previous
Edit Shopify storefront content
- NewPick a storefront element and replace its contents with custom HTML, video, or large hosted Flam experiences.
- NewBuild a Shopify product VRT end to end: search products, choose variants, generate videos, bake, preview, and place the experience from the Flam app.

Turn images into editable canvases
- FixedImage imports now preserve complete people and limbs, while readable logo wordmarks stay crisp, opaque, and editable as text.
- NewImport a flattened ad image and Gemini now rebuilds it as movable products, people, logos, text, buttons, shapes, and a clean background.
1.4
Scroll to scrub a video
- NewInstall a sticky custom-HTML banner in your Shopify theme directly from the Shopify screen.
- FixedShopify generation now authenticates against Flowy's public API and sends variant images to the published shopify_prod flow.
- FixedShopify video generation now uses the current published Flowy app instead of a stale app saved by the browser.
- ImprovedShopify showcase generation now runs as a background job with live status checks instead of leaving one browser request pending for several minutes.
- FixedShopify showcases no longer replace the product gallery with a black box when Flowy returns an image instead of a playable video.
- FixedClicking an animated element in the Lottie motion preview now selects that layer directly.
- NewAuto-generate a Shopify showcase from a product URL — paste a product link and, with your Flowy app key, the Shopify screen turns each variant's image into a video and bakes them into one interactive switch-clip. No videos on the product needed.
- NewShopify product showcases — connect your store and turn a product's videos into one interactive clip that plays in place of the product photo, where shoppers switch takes with the normal variant picker (only the pixel diff changes). Set it up from the new Shopify screen; the video and variant mapping are read straight from your Shopify product.
- FixedSwipe-to-switch now works across the whole interactive VRT video on phones, including in the full preview modal, instead of only over baked hotspots.
- NewRight-click an interactive VRT video to enable swipe-to-switch: left advances to the next chain, right returns to the previous chain, and both wrap automatically.
- NewPreview now opens inline by default, with a dropdown for the full modal and a Restart button that resets videos, animations and interactions.
- NewSwipe any canvas element left, right, up or down to switch an interactive video chain or trigger one of its hotspots through a no-code connection.
- ImprovedExported ads with an autoplaying video now start noticeably faster — the video pre-buffers and shows its poster frame immediately instead of loading only once the page is ready.
- FixedTall, full-screen ads no longer show a flash of white when you scroll or overscroll past the ad — the page now stays the ad’s own background colour and stops cleanly at the edge.
- NewNew “Cut (no transition)” slideshow animation — switch between slides instantly with no fade or slide. (Setting the animation to “None” turns the slideshow off, so pick “Cut” when you want hard switches between clips.)
- ImprovedScroll-to-scrub now works inside a video slideshow, as one continuous timeline — scrub the current clip, and scrubbing past its end rolls straight into the next clip (past the start rolls back to the previous). Swipe sideways still jumps between clips.
- ImprovedVideo slideshows now accept uploaded files — add clips straight from your device with “Add videos,” or paste a URL.
- NewVideo playlists that auto-advance — on a video slideshow, turn on the “On end” trigger and each clip jumps to the next the moment it finishes playing.
- NewScroll or drag to scrub a video — turn on “Scroll to scrub” on any video and the viewer moves its playhead by scrolling the wheel or dragging up/down over it (down = forward, up = back), instead of it playing on its own. Set the scrub sensitivity to taste.
1.3
Swipeable video reels
- NewTurn a video into a slideshow — add several clips and swipe (or tap, or auto-play) through them. Each clip plays on its own, muted and looping, the moment it comes into view. Open a video's Animation → Slideshow panel to build the reel.
- ImprovedAnimation delays are no longer capped at 4 seconds — set any delay you like to hold an entrance, loop, or after-delay trigger off for as long as you need.
1.2
Build interactive videos
- NewAdd sound to an ad — the new Audio component drops in a tap-to-hear speaker button that loops an uploaded track. It starts muted so it can play on load; the viewer taps the speaker to unmute (and again to mute).
- ImprovedThe selection ring on swatches is now adjustable — new "Ring thickness" and "Gap to image" sliders (Inspector, under Active ring color) control how bold the ring is and how far it sits from the image.
- NewBuild multi-scene interactive videos — VRT Studio's new Timeline chains scenes (each a plain playthrough or a tap-to-switch-variant zone) into one .vrt, with taps that jump between scenes and scenes that auto-advance.
- ImprovedRevealing a hidden component now plays its entrance animation — a button shown by a connection (or appearing for its scene) animates in (spawn or motion) instead of popping.
- FixedScene buttons now hide reliably in Preview — a button that only shows in certain scenes no longer lingers on-screen during the others.
- ImprovedEdit vs Preview is now clearer for scene-driven buttons — while editing you see every button (ones not in the current scene appear translucent), and Preview shows the real ad: only the current scene's buttons, connections live.
- ImprovedConnection wires now show their direction — a hollow socket marks the source and an arrowhead points at the target, so you can read who triggers whom at a glance.
- NewYour ad can now react to the video — a new "When video scene changes" trigger fires when an interactive .vrt enters a scene, so each scene can show its own buttons, swap copy, or jump frames automatically.
- New"Show only during scene(s)" — tick the scenes where a component should be visible and it hides everywhere else, one connection instead of a show+hide pair per scene.
- NewAny component can start hidden — a new "Hidden at start" toggle keeps it invisible until a connection reveals it (perfect for per-scene button groups; the editor shows it ghosted).
- ImprovedPicking a chain to switch to is now grouped by scene — choose "Neck 2" under the necklace scene instead of decoding a combined label list.
- ImprovedJump-to-scene interactions now name themselves — leave the hotspot id empty and it becomes go-<scene name> automatically, so a button wired to that id jumps there from any scene (an empty id used to mean the jump could never fire).
- ImprovedMulti-scene interactive videos now remember every scene's own variant names — the Switch-chain dropdown shows what each chain means per scene (Brace 1 · Neck 2 · …), and all jump ids appear in the Trigger-hotspot dropdown without playing through first.
- ImprovedWatch your bake happen — the Timeline now streams a live progress log (each scene, chain and packing step) while your interactive video bakes on your machine, instead of a blind spinner.
- ImprovedTimeline videos fill the frame — pick an output shape (Portrait / Square / Landscape) and your clips crop-to-fill it instead of showing black bars, even when the clips are different shapes.
- FixedMulti-scene interactive videos with switch-chain scenes now play the intro through — it no longer flashes one frame and skips to the loop (each scene's frame clock was restarting at zero, so later scenes painted over the intro).
- FixedInteractive .vrt videos now scale to fill their box instead of showing black padding around the video.
- NewAlready have a .vrt? VRT Studio's new Upload tab hosts your interactive video file and drops it straight into an ad — no re-baking.
- NewReuse a pre-baked .vrt as a timeline scene — drop an existing .vrt into the Timeline (even a tap-to-switch one: its variants stay switchable and its hotspots carry over) and it's folded into the combined interactive video.
- NewControl an interactive video from your own buttons — wire any button, image or text to a .vrt so a tap switches its chain (e.g. another colourway) or fires a hotspot region, no code needed.
- NewNew VRT Studio: upload several takes of the same scene (different outfit, colour, or light) and pack them into one interactive video where viewers tap to switch between them — then use it straight in a video component.
- ImprovedVideos now snap to their real shape — every video, including interactive .vrt clips, resizes to its true aspect ratio when you open an ad, so it's never stretched or cropped to the wrong proportions.
1.1
Borrow motion from any Lottie
- NewExtract motion from a Lottie — upload a Lottie or Jitter animation in a component's Animation panel, pick which element's movement you want, and it's applied to your own image or text. Your content stays; it just moves the same way. No matching image slots required.
1.0
Smoother, more cinematic motion
- ImprovedThe assistant remembers your chosen model (Gemini, Claude, or your own Local one), so it carries across sessions and powers the brand kit's Generate-with-AI flow too.
- NewCreate an ad straight from a brand kit — open any brand and hit "Create ad" to start a canvas pre-styled with its colours, fonts and logo: blank, from a template, or just describe it and the AI builds it on-brand.
- NewBring your own model — the AI assistant can now run on a self-hosted LLM (any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, e.g. vLLM): pick "Local" in the assistant to keep prompts on your own infrastructure.
- NewCurved & path motion — new presets arc or swoop elements into place, plus continuous orbit and figure-8 loops, for organic movement instead of straight lines.
- NewScroll-into-view animations — set an element to play when it scrolls into view (or scrub to scroll position), so reveals trigger as the viewer reaches them.
- NewSequence reveals — animate elements in order (logo → headline → button) in one step, so your ad plays like a choreographed intro instead of everything appearing at once.
- NewRicher animation curves — choose pro-grade eases (expo, back, elastic, bounce and more) or a real spring with adjustable bounciness, for motion that feels fluid instead of mechanical.
- ImprovedFind "What's new" right from the dashboard toolbar — a quick link to the latest features.
- FixedUploaded Lottie / Jitter animations that contain their own images (e.g. an image-stretch transition) now import with the visuals intact instead of coming in blank.
- NewUpload an animated Lottie template (e.g. a carousel) and it keeps just the animation — your images fill it and the template's own text, branding and background are stripped away, so everything is yours to control.
- NewWhen uploading a template, choose Image animation, Text animation, or both — so you can keep just the moving images and drop the template's baked-in title/branding (or vice-versa).
- NewYour uploaded animation effects now sync across devices — they're saved to a shared library, so an effect you add on one browser is there on your others too.
0.9
The AI assistant can do more of the editor
- NewFilter your dashboard by brand, type (Canvas / Template) or use-case, and search by name — so you see only the compositions you want.
- ImprovedDelete reveal effects you've uploaded — the Animation panel now lists your uploads with a remove button, so duplicates or ones you no longer want disappear from every picker.
- NewApply a Lottie reveal or ripple effect to an image — it plays on load with your image revealed inside, or reveal several images together as a collage.
- NewA slideshow's Animation can now be a reveal effect (Revel Intro / Ripple), not just Slide or Fade — its first few slides fill the reveal and play together.
- ImprovedReorder slideshow slides by dragging them — grab a thumbnail (or the handle on a text slide) and drop it where you want.
- NewLoop a reveal effect on an image as an idle animation: the Animation panel's Idle tab now has a Reveal effect picker (Ripple suits a continuous idle).
- NewUpload your own Lottie / Jitter animation (Animation panel → Upload Lottie / JSON) — it's cleaned of any watermark on import and becomes a reusable reveal effect in the Spawn, Idle and Slideshow pickers.
- NewNew SKU Slideshow: import product URLs and each product's image, name and price auto-fill a carousel — the image and text slides advance together so they always show the same product.
- ImprovedAny image or text slideshow can now pull its slides from imported products: flip "Fill from imported products" in the Slideshow panel and pick which field (image, title, price…) feeds it.
- ImprovedImported products now sync across your browsers and devices — anything you scrape is saved to the shared library, so the Saved tab shows it everywhere.
- FixedThe Marquee idle animation now loops seamlessly (continuous scroll) instead of jumping back to the start each cycle.
- FixedExported HTML now loads all of an ad's fonts (Jost, Inter, Fraunces…) instead of some falling back to a plain serif.
- ImprovedExported ads are leaner — the HTML now includes only the interactive code an ad actually uses, instead of every feature's runtime.
- NewAsk the AI assistant to reorder layers (bring to front / send to back), group or ungroup elements, and align or evenly space several at once.
- NewThe assistant can now resize a frame or change ad size — with everything reflowing — and rename, duplicate or delete frames.
- NewThe assistant can fine-tune image and video filters (brightness, contrast, blur and more) and add drop shadows or highlights to text.
0.4
Slideshows you can edit in one place
- NewDouble-click a text or image slideshow to edit every item — add, remove, reorder — and pick the animation, all in one popup.
- FixedBrand kits show typography, corner radii and button styles again — the extractor was skipping those design tokens.
0.3
Smarter AI generation & direct editing
- NewConversational AI image generation — follow-up prompts build on your previous one, with a New chat button to start fresh.
- NewUse any image on the canvas as a reference: select it, then Generate, and Gemini works from it.
- NewDouble-click to edit — inline text editing for text, focal zoom/crop for images.
- ImprovedAdditive marquee select — hold Shift or Cmd while drag-selecting to add to the current selection.
